Terms of Service

Last updated 6 November 2026. By using Robot Pool Cleaner Picks (https://robotpoolcleanerpicks.com) you accept these terms.

What this site is

Robot Pool Cleaner Picks publishes editorial buying guidance about robotic and cordless pool cleaners. It is operated by Iron Mako Media.

We are not a retailer. We do not sell, stock, ship, install or service any product described here. Every purchase link on this site goes to Amazon, and any order you place is a contract between you and Amazon under their terms — not with us.

We do not physically test the products we write about, and nothing on this site should be read as a report of first-hand use. The methodology page sets out exactly what our evidence is: published manufacturer specifications, retailer listing data, characterized owner reports, and an explicit “not published” where no figure exists.

Information, accuracy and no warranty

We work hard to be accurate and we attribute every figure. We cannot guarantee it. Specifications change without model names changing, listings are edited by sellers, products are discontinued, and prices move constantly.

The content here is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Before you buy, verify the specifications that matter to you — particularly the rated pool size — against the live listing and the manufacturer’s own documentation.

Prices shown are drawn from Amazon’s API with the date they were checked, and expire automatically after 48 hours rather than going stale. Even so, the price at checkout on Amazon is the only price that governs your purchase.

Scores on this site are editorial arithmetic on published specifications, by a rubric we publish. They are not test results, not a certification, and not a guarantee of performance in your pool.

Safety — the part that actually matters

Pools involve water, electricity, chemicals and drowning risk. Some guidance on this site touches all four, so please read this section properly.

  • Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific machine over anything written here. Where the two conflict, theirs governs.
  • Electrical work is for a qualified electrician. Corded cleaners need a GFCI-protected supply. Never run a damaged cable or a damaged power supply, and never improvise a repair on either. See the U.S. CPSC Pool Safely program.
  • Pool chemistry is dosed by the product, not by us. Where we discuss shocking or treating a pool we deliberately do not give dose figures — follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions and the CDC’s healthy-swimming guidance.
  • Drain covers and entrapment are a serious matter independent of any cleaner. If a main drain cover is cracked, loose or missing, that is a safety issue to address immediately.
  • Battery packs: never fit a charger of the wrong voltage, and stop using any pack that is swollen, hot or damaged.
  • Never leave children unsupervised near a pool, with or without a cleaner in it.

You use the information on this site at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of anyone using your pool.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Iron Mako Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content — including a purchase that turns out to be unsuitable for your pool.

We are also not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third-party site we link to, including Amazon and the manufacturer sites cited as sources.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

The text, structure, scoring rubric, comparison tables and design of this site are © 2026 Iron Mako Media. You may quote short extracts with a link back. You may not republish pages or substantial portions of this site, or use its content to train a model for a competing commercial product, without written permission.

Product names, brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used here descriptively. Product photographs are served from Amazon’s product data under the Associates program and appear only beside links to those products on Amazon.

Affiliate relationships

This site earns commission on qualifying purchases made through its links. The affiliate disclosure explains that in full, including what it does and does not influence.

Acceptable use, changes and contact

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or misrepresent its content as your own. Automated crawling is welcome within the rules published in robots.txt — including AI crawlers, which we allow deliberately.

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
